Wah University’s 8th Multi-Disciplinary Student Research Conference

The University of Wah joined forces with the Punjab Higher Education Commission (PHEC) to organize the 8th Multi-Disciplinary Student Research International Conference (MDSRIC).
Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Chairman of the Punjab Higher Education Commission, graced the opening ceremony as the chief guest. He praised the University of Wah’s commitment to academic excellence, fostering a research-oriented environment, and contributing positively to society.
The conference attracted notable scholars and representatives from various universities in Pakistan and abroad. Distinguished professors and academics from the UK, USA, South Korea, Malaysia, Bahrain, and Pakistan delivered keynote addresses, enriching the conference with their expertise.
Ninety-one research papers spanning diverse disciplines were presented over the two-day event.
Dr. Jameel-Un Nabi, Vice Chancellor of the University of Wah, highlighted the crucial role of robust research efforts for sustainable development in today’s world. Dr. Zuhair S. Khan, Director of ORIC-UW, emphasized the significance of academic conferences like MDSRIC, providing a platform for scholars to exchange ideas and forecast upcoming advancements in their respective fields.
