Doctorate degree awarded to Pakistani Students
Noreen Naz, the Deputy Controller of Examinations at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar, has received a doctoral degree for her pioneering research focused on establishing a groundbreaking model research university in Pakistan. As a scholar within the education department of Qurtuba University Peshawar, Ms. Naz successfully defended her research thesis under the guidance of Dr. Iffat Ara.
During the public defense, attended by external examiners and notable figures including Dr. Arshad Ali from the University of Peshawar’s Advance Studies Research Board, Dr. Ihsan from Sarhad University, Dr. Rahim from Qurtuba University, along with teachers and a substantial gathering of students, Ms. Naz highlighted the potential for the government to leverage her research. She emphasized how implementing her findings could elevate Pakistan’s position in higher education, consequently fostering a more prosperous economic standing on the global stage.
