Army-FC combined education projects shine brightly in KP

The Pakistan Army, alongside the Frontier Corps (FC), remains committed to facilitating access to education in the conflict-ridden districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). In a collaborative effort with the KP government, they’ve launched a new initiative called Taleem: Tolo Da Para (Education for All) aimed at ensuring accessible education for everyone in the war-torn tribal areas.

Nine pilot projects have swiftly commenced in Mohmand Tera, Hasan Khel, Dara Adam Khel, Karam, Jani Khel, Tanak Srarogha, and Angore Adda as urgent interventions. These initiatives, undertaken on an emergency basis, signify a concerted effort to bring education to these areas.

The impact has been tangible, with over 4,000 boys and girls already benefiting from the program. Various centers have been established to conduct classes, actively engaging the community. As part of the initiative, the Pakistan Army has revitalized 24 dormant schools, simultaneously providing training to 250 adults, further enhancing the educational landscape.

The Pakistan Army’s unwavering commitment to ensuring knowledge dissemination in the war-affected districts of KP underscores their dedication to fostering education despite the challenging circumstances.
