Bakhtawar Cadet College hosts its annual Parents’ Day and passing-out parade
In Nawabshah, the Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls held its 3rd Annual Parents Day and Passing Out Parade Full Rehearsal, graced by Commissioner Syed Muhammad Sajjad Haider of Shaheed Benazirabad Division as the chief guest. Alongside Deputy Commissioner Zahid Hussain Rind, college teachers, and officials, the event witnessed a smart cadet contingent presenting a salute and guard of honor to the esteemed guest.
The girl cadets showcased their skills with a commendable parade, PT Show, Tiger Squad Drill, and jumping event. Addressing the gathering, the commissioner highlighted the exceptional achievements of the Bakhtawar Girls Cadet College in the realm of education within a short span. He emphasized the pivotal role women play in the development of advanced nations and expressed confidence in the future contribution of the girl cadets after their graduation.
Applauding the cadets’ efforts and outstanding results from the Board of Education, the chief guest praised the college administration for extending exemplary training and educational facilities to the cadets. College Principal Dr. Farkhunda Shaikh underscored the institution’s pioneering status among the country’s premier educational institutions. She highlighted the college’s role in preparing cadets for diverse fields including defense, civil services, medical, engineering, and more by fostering a holistic and conducive learning environment.
During the event, the commissioner explored science, arts, and cultural exhibitions, lauding the craftsmanship and performances displayed. Additionally, both the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner participated in planting saplings on the premises of the Cadet College, emphasizing environmental consciousness and sustainable practices.
