HEC Cautions Students About Unaccredited Degree Programs
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has issued a warning to prospective university students, urging them to ensure degree program accreditation before enrollment.
In a recent student alert, HEC emphasized that professional degree programs or qualifications must hold accreditation from the relevant professional councils. The commission highlighted that offering such programs without accreditation is prohibited.
HEC’s notice aims to alert students regarding certain universities offering admissions in programs lacking accreditation, posing a significant risk to students’ academic pursuits and prospects.
