Information Minister acknowledged educational role in nation building
Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, emphasized the direct correlation between the nation’s development and the advancement of its education sector. Speaking at the 4th convocation of the Information Technology University in Lahore, he highlighted education’s pivotal role in fostering societal progress and cultivating harmonious behavior within communities.
Solangi noted that Pakistan faces multifaceted challenges, encompassing environmental issues, violence, and intolerance. He underscored the regular occurrence of weather emergencies, emphasizing this as a substantial challenge faced by the country.
Furthermore, the Minister stressed the imperative to eradicate negative propaganda and adverse journalism from Pakistan, emphasizing the need for a more positive and constructive media environment.
