Karachi Board Announces Application Process for 10th Class Exams
The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has initiated the application window for the 2024 Jamat-10th Science and General Group annual examinations!
This opportunity is available to both regular and private students, including those wishing to retake exams, enhance grades, add extra papers, or participate from other boards.
Chairman Board, Dr. Syed Sharaf Ali Shah, highlighted the inclusive nature of the process, extending a warm welcome to students from diverse backgrounds.
Eligibility:
- Regular students enrolled in affiliated schools
- First-time attempts by private students
- Students seeking grade improvements in specific subjects
- Candidates interested in additional papers
- Students who appeared in exams from other boards in 2024
Application Procedures:
- Regular students: Collect forms from the BSEK accounts section and include a photocopy of your practical paper’s question paper.
- Private students and female candidates: Obtain forms from the board office booth or affiliated banks. Ensure verification by the relevant section before submission.
- Private schools: Submit online forms and fees (via National Bank only).
- Government institutions: Obtain and submit forms free of charge from the BSEK accounts section.
Key Dates and Fees:
- Application deadline: March 25th, 2024
- Late fees:
- 500 (February 27th – March 4th)
- 800 (March 5th – 11th)
- 1200 (March 12th – 18th)
- 1500 (March 19th – 25th)
- 2500 (after March 25th)
- Form cost (for non-affiliated schools): Rs. 100 per form, payable through a pay order to the Board Secretary.
School authorities are advised against individual student visits to the board office for form submissions to ensure an organized process.
