KP CM Focuses on Empowering Youth Through Education

“KP Launches ‘Training and Employment Program’ for Youth Development”

The Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Justice (R) Syed Arshad Hussain Shah, initiated the ‘Program for Training and Employment.’ This initiative aims to provide market-focused training to targeted youth in various high-potential fields. The first phase intends to train and place over 100,000 youths across the province in local and international markets. Crash courses in IT, Nursing, Paramedics, and other sectors will be conducted, supported by multiple MoUs signed between provincial departments and relevant institutions.

The launch ceremony took place at the Chief Minister’s House, attended by cabinet members, the Higher Education Commission Chairman, departmental secretaries, partner organizations, journalists, and numerous students. Seven MoUs were signed between provincial departments and relevant institutions during the event. Institute of Management Sciences Peshawar inked agreements with the Department of Youth Affairs and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa TEVTA signed agreements with the Higher Education Department and the Accelerated Skills Development Program.

Additionally, an MoU was signed between the KP IT Board and the Small Industries Development Board (SIDB). Further collaborations included MoUs between Comsats, Pak-Austria Fachhochschule Institute of Applied Sciences, and the Directorate of Youth Affairs.
