Lahore BISE Scholarship Program Announced
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has officially initiated its annual scholarship program to promote academic excellence and assist deserving students. The program aims to acknowledge the accomplishments of outstanding students who completed the secondary school annual examination in 2023 under the Lahore Board.
Each year, the Lahore Board allocates a specific number of scholarships, including 30 reserved for the children of teachers and an additional 2 reserved for disabled students. Eligible students must be enrolled in either the Lahore Board or a government institution and should not be recipients of any other scholarship from government or semi-government institutions.
Applicants for reserved scholarships must submit their applications by February 29, 2024. The application form and a duly verified copy of the passed examination result card should be submitted through the heads of their respective institutions.
For specific categories, such as teachers’ children, applicants must attach their parents’ employment certificates for validation. At the same time, disabled students need to provide a disability certificate from either Services Hospital Lahore or the relevant district headquarters hospital.
The scholarship program mirrors the Lahore Board’s commitment to fostering education and providing financial assistance to deserving students, recognizing academic achievements, and promoting an inclusive educational environment for teachers’ children and those with disabilities.
This announcement underscores the board’s dedication to promoting education and ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder talented students in the region. The Lahore Board encourages all eligible students to seize this opportunity and submit their applications within the specified timeframe.
