Moral Education Is Required in Addition to Degrees Rana Hussain
Sindh Education Minister Rana Hussain emphasized the importance of moral education alongside academic degrees in educational institutions. During the closing ceremony of the Inter Boards Coordination Commission’s annual conference at Muhammad Ali Jinnah University (MAJU), she highlighted the necessity of character certificates reflecting students’ virtues and flaws for evaluating their behavior.
Hussain stressed aligning education with market demands to enable students to better contribute to the nation. Baluchistan’s Education Minister Prof Qadir Bux Baloch echoed the need for substantial changes in the curriculum. He emphasized that question papers should consider students’ capacities and mindsets.
National Coordinator IBCC Syed Sharaf Ali Shah and chairmen of educational boards also shared insights at the conference. The event concluded with the distribution of shields and guests receiving Ajraks as tokens of appreciation.
