Punjab University’s 132nd Convocation Set for January 20th
The 132nd convocation of Punjab University is scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Faisal Auditorium. A mandatory full dress rehearsal for the event is set for today (Friday) at 8 am in Faisal Auditorium, requiring the active participation of all students. Notably, position-holder students from BS, MA/MSc, M.Phil, and PhD programs, who completed their degrees in 2022, will receive medals and degrees during the convocation ceremony. To ensure a seamless event, a meeting was convened on Thursday, presided over by Acting Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Abdullah Khan Durrani. Attendees included Registrar Dr. Ahmad Islam, Controller of Examinations Muhammad Rauf Nawaz, deans from various faculties, and members of the convocation coordination committee. The meeting encompassed a review of all arrangements and discussions on measures to successfully organize the university’s 132nd convocation. Acting VC Prof Dr. Abdullah Khan Durrani instructed officials to guarantee optimal arrangements for all participants.
