Punjab’s Private Schools Urge Matriculation Exam Delay
Punjab’s Private Schools Seek One-Month Postponement for Matric Exams
Amidst recent smog and prolonged winter breaks, private schools in Punjab are urging the Chief Minister and the Higher Education Secretary for a one-month delay in the upcoming matriculation exams. The disruption caused by smog and extended holidays has left students with incomplete syllabi, according to Mian Shabir Ahmad Hashmi, Central President of the All Pakistan Private Schools Association (APPSA).
Hashmi emphasized the need to compensate for the disrupted academic calendar, proposing a revised exam schedule starting from April 15th. This postponement request covers various exams, including PAF, PEMA, and Matric, aiming to provide students with ample time for comprehensive preparation and better performance.
