SZABIST Scholarship Programs
SZABIST offers a variety of scholarships to deserving students, recognizing both academic merit and financial need. The SZABIST Need-Based Scholarship Program provides financial aid to talented students facing financial challenges. This annual scholarship covers a portion or all of the tuition fee for two semesters.
To be eligible, students must have an annual family income below a certain threshold (which varies depending on the program) and maintain a minimum GPA. The application process involves submitting a form and required documents to the External Relations & Financial Assistance (ERFA) department. Shortlisted students are interviewed before final decisions are made.
For academically high-performing students, the SZABIST Merit-Based Scholarship Program offers a 25% tuition fee waiver for the subsequent semester. This scholarship is awarded to students with the highest semester GPA, meeting specific criteria like a minimum GPA requirement and taking a full course load.
In addition to SZABIST-funded scholarships, the university collaborates with external donor agencies to provide further financial aid opportunities. These scholarships have varying eligibility requirements, benefits, and deadlines. Some examples include the Pak-USAID Merit and Need-Based Scholarships Program (covering full tuition and stipend), Sindh Educational Endowment Fund (one-year tuition fee), and Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (monthly stipend).
Overall, SZABIST’s scholarship programs aim to support deserving students from diverse backgrounds, making quality education more accessible. By combining need-based and merit-based scholarships with external funding opportunities, SZABIST empowers students to achieve their academic goals.
